Why Drying Determines Quality

Freshly harvested cannabis consists largely of water. If you rush or improperly handle this process, you not only risk mold formation but also destroy delicate terpenes and cannabinoids. Patience is your best friend here for a first-class result within the framework of the Cannabis Act.

The Perfect Conditions: Temperature & Humidity

To preserve the terpenes – the carriers of scent and flavor – you must precisely control the environment in your drying room (or grow tent):

• Temperature: Ideal is 18-21 °C. Anything above 22 °C will already cause volatile terpenes to evaporate.
• Humidity: Aim for 55-60 %. Too dry makes the buds harsh; too humid invites mold.
